through my high school years 4:20 was usually spent: running home for lunch from school with all my best friends (to my house of course) to hit bill's in the basement & backyard, tons of food and munchies, and last year’s wake and bake with some of my fav pot smoking girlys .. in my bedroom .. of course.
at the end of the day, regardless of how you choose to celebrate, today is the day to roll the perfect blunt, hit a percy bowl, toke a yummy spliff, and celebrate the beauty that is marijuanna. & don't forget to wish fellow stoners a happy 4:20 .. oh & bring your shades.

420, 4:20 or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) refers to consumption of cannabis and, by extension, a way to identify oneself with cannabis drug subculture.
The term originated from a group of teenagers at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California, United States in 1971. The teens would meet after school at 4:20 p.m. to smoke marijuana at the Louis Pasteur statue.
